​​​At Camp Run A Pup, your pup’s day isn’t measured in hours — it’s measured in sunshine, splashes, zoomies, snack breaks, and overall fun. We’re a family-run lodge with a very simple mission: give our campers the happiest, safest, most fun-filled day possible.

Most of our play happens outside, where pups race across our clean artificial turf, follow their noses on adventures, and soak in fresh air with their favorite friends. In warm weather, our pool is the place where confident swimmers, cautious toe-dippers, and full-body cannonballers all discover their inner mer-pup.

When Chicago weather shows its… truly polar personality… we’re talking single digits, wind that bites, or conditions even a seasoned Husky would side-eye — we temporarily shift to indoor games, puzzles, and enrichment. But if it’s just brisk, chilly, or a classic Chicago “is this really winter?” kind of day, we bundle up, toss extra wood on the campfire, and head right back outside. Rain or snow, we know how to keep things FUN at camp! And we only move indoors when the weather absolutely insists. 

When it’s time to rest, pups rotate into the Woodlands, the Sunroom, or the Den — calm, cozy spaces designed for relaxation,, and sometimes you will here the occasional dramatic sigh of a pup who played juuust a little too hard.

Every moment is supervised by counselors trained to read canine body language, encourage positive interactions, and ensure pups of all play styles feel safe, confident, and genuinely included. Whether your pup is a social butterfly, a cautious newcomer, a laid-back observer, or a professional best-friend-maker, we help them find their circle.
