Antler Chews
All my dogs love to chew. In an effort to keep them away from my UGG boots, I am always on the lookout for the perfect chew. When I was introduced to Antler Sheds as chews for my pups, I was at first careful, and then excited. After using them with all different breeds of dogs, I have yet to encounter a digestive problem. Of course, I am always cautious, sanding down sharp edges with a piece of sand paper, and naturally, I throw them away when they get too small. My dogs love these long-lasting, clean chews and I’m delighted to be able to share my find with you and your pups!
A few interesting facts about Antler Chews:
- Antler Chews are right out of nature and are completely unprocessed. They hold up longer than chews made of compacted starch, rawhides or bully sticks.
- Antler Chews, unlike processed bones, do not chip or splinter when being chewed. The chewing action grinds the bones down slowly.
- Antler Chews are clean. There is no odor or residue to stain your furniture or carpet, unlike smelly hoofs, gooey raw hides, and greasy pigs’ ears.
- Antler Chews vary in shape, and dogs seem to enjoy the variety in the chews. They look much cooler than Nyla bones.
- Our Antler Chews are from free-ranging U.S. deer or elk. Some of the antlers are naturally shed and some of the antlers are harvested from deer that have been hunted for sport or food - never for their antlers!!
