How was your day?
While some of you are heading off to far off lands, and other of you to more regional places, Spot and Bailey’s dad is off to bomb school in Socorro, New Mexico for 4 days. His mornings will be spent in the classroom and his afternoons out on the range blowing stuff up. Spot is a Dalmatian that has come a long way from the rescue pup he was when his human dad adopted him. Bailey, is an all around camper that can bounce and catch a ball, or better yet he bounces it against the wall and then catches it. Bailey and Spot clearly enjoy the life of lots of love and little fuss. They enjoy a guys life (their dad is a bachelor) and seem to enjoy it very well.
Chelsea and Chatham arrived at camp for their July visit while there family heads to Canada for what they call, there yearly peanut butter fix. This lovely family introduced us to Canadian Kraft peanut butter and it is a wondrous thing. My human pup eats it straight from the jar, when I am not looking, naturally. George and Max’s mom (born Canadian) admits there is something special about the peanut butter from Canada and continues to broaden our experiences with food from Canada. Chelsea and Chatham did not however, bring there talking parrot Howie. Each year, I ask if Howie will be joining Chelsea and Chatham at camp but he always stays behind under a neighbor’s watchful eye. Probably just as well, since I have decided birds just hate me. Maybe it’s because cats adore me, and I grow founder of them by the minute!! Joann if you are reading this your pups are doing JUST FINE!
Sullivan, my lone pug, since DJ and Pickels headed for home, decided to sun today. He stretched his whole self out on the patio in a crawl position. His tail was curling up, and his nose was curling under. Oblivious to the world he snored undisturbed for quite awhile before my Rascal decided to “Rascal” him. After he chased Rascal a few laps around the yard, he jumped into the pool and floated for a bit before once again returning to his nap. Sullivan understands “it’s a dog life at camp” How did you spend your day?
Camp Is Good, Hope you are too,

Love hearing about your campers. The photos are precious!
I have 2 houseguests this weekend plus a full grooming schedule! My one houseguest is here on a regular basis. Max the maltese comes for two weeks every July, one month in February and all throughout the rest of year.
Happy tails,
Diane
